It is, however, imperative that the present investigation be extended to include a thorough test of the clay deposits and that the figures of manufacturing costs and investment be rechecked and brought up-to-date when the final size of factory and its location have been decided upon.สาระสังเขป: Excellent clays for the manufacture of structural clay products can be found in many parts of Thailand from Chiang Mai in the north to Chanthaburi in the southeast. A ready market for clay building products exists in Bangkok and surrounding towns. As a basis for comparison in estimating the market it is interesting to note that Singapore produce 100 million brick per year. Common brick in Singapore sell for 0.88 baht each and face brick for 1.12 to 1.44 baht each. The cost manufacture is said to be 0.562 baht each. These figures compare closely with the estimated cost of manufacturing and the selling prices quoted in this report.
