The fractionation of dialyzate with silica gel (kieselgel 0.2-0.5 mm, E. Merck AG., Darmstadt, Germany) was attempted. Five different fractions were prepared and were tested for hypotensive activity on dogs. Two fractions showed significant effect on blood pressure. Authors
