The production will be possible at a yield of 2%, if the price of bai miang declines and/or the price of caffeine inorfeases.สาระสังเขป: The investigation into the domestic market for caffeine shows that there is a good opportunity for the establishment of caffeine production in Thailand. The expected market share of the new manufacture would warrant a production capacity of 50 tonnes per year to start with. Further expansion can be extended as far as the supply of raw material permits if foreign market outlets can be secured. These conclusions, however, will be valid only when the quality of the product meets the grading standard, and its price and availability are competitive in the world market.
