The results of study on investment of hygiene vegetables showed that there was the feasible invest ment to grow hygiene vegetables. The results confirmed that net present value (NPV) was positive, investments rate of return (IRR) was higher than that of the interest rate of bank loan. The benefit-cost analysis showed that B/C ratio was higher 1, resulting in short payback period. In addition, the plantation of hygiene vegetables using hydroponic technique could be carried out in all circumstances, thus, saved platation area, and easy control of polluted environments. Marketingmise, the main market was only domestic. The production of these vegetables could help substitute some imported vegetables from overseas market while the selling prices of hydroponic vegetables were also higher than those of plain vegetables. However, the government should be aware and pay more attention to the planters in terms of data prorisian such as cument marketing situation, the kinds of vegetables required in the market, and preservation methods.สาระสังเขป: การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนและการตลาดของพืชผักสุขภาพ ที่ดำเนินการวิจัยโดยสถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศไทย (วว.). การศึกษาการลงทุนพบว่า มีความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุน, โดยผลลัพธ์จากการคำนวณค่ามูลค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิ (NPV) มีค่าเป็นบวกหรือมีกำไรจากการประกอบการ, ค่าอัตราผลตอบแทนจากการลงทุน (IRR) มีค่ามากกว่าอัตราดอกเบี้ยเงินกู้ยืมจากธนาคาร. การวิเคราะห์ค่าผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุนมีค่ามากกว่า 1, ซึ่งหมายถึง มีรายได้มากกว่ารายจ่าย และระยะเวลาของการคืนทุนสั้น. นอกจากนั้น การปลูกพืชผักไร้ดินยังสามารถดำเนินการในทุกสถานที่และประหยัดพื้นที่, ง่ายต่อการควบคุมภาวะแวดล้อมที่เป็นพิษ. ในด้านการตลาดพบว่า มีตลาดภายในประเทศรองรับเป็นหลักและการผลิตจะช่วยชดเชยการนำเข้าบางส่วนจากต่างประเทศได้ รวมทั้งราคาจำหน่ายจะได้ราคาที่สูงกว่าการปลูกพืชผักจากดิน. อย่างไรก็ตาม รัฐบาลควรตระหนักและให้ความสำคัญกับผู้ผลิตโดยสนับสนุนในเรื่องข้อมูล ด้านสถานการณ์ทางการตลาดในปัจจุบัน, ชนิดของพืชผักที่ตลาดต้องการ และการดูแลรักษา เป็นต้น.
