Time and ration speed were controlled by a central unit for each pond in order to provide consistent feeding rate.สาระสังเขป: Installation tests of 6 automatic shrimp feed dispensers in a shrimp pond area of 4 rai showed that each machine could distribute shrimp feed up to a 10 meter radius with a centrigugal radius of 140 degree and a maximum 5 kilograms at shrimp food could be loaded per machineสาระสังเขป: Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research has successfully developed an automatic shrimp food dispenser which includes the design of 6 dispenser units and also plastic injection molds for the main machine parts, namely, a rotating disc and a screw feeder.สาระสังเขป: The dispenser system run alternately in operation cycle. The first machine would function as a main controller in distrivuting shrimp food for 10 seconds and stops, then the next (2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) machines operated in the follwing sequence unit the full cycle was accomplished.สาระสังเขป: The test results showed that the suitable pellet sizes for the automatic shrimp food dispenser were the size number 2 and 3 with the feeding performance of 1 kilogram per minute in average and feeding time controlled by the timer relay system, resulting in consistent distribution of the food pellets in the coverage area and the percent of crushing pellet of less than 5%สาระสังเขป: จากการศึกษา, วิจัย และพัมนาเครื่องหว่านอาหารกุ้งเพื่อการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์แบบอัตโนมัติที่อาศัยหลักการทำงานของจานหมุนเหวี่ยงในการกระจายเม็ดอาหารลงสู่บ่อกุ้ง มีสกรูป้อนลำเลียงอาหารกุ้งลงสู่จานหมุนเหวี่ยง, ควบคุมเวลาและอัตราการหว่านอาหารกุ้ง โดยเครื่องควบคุมหลักของแต่ละบ่อ, ซึ่งเป็นกลไกรที่ไม่ซับซ้อน, สร้างง่าย, สามารถให้อาหารกุ้งได้อย่างสม่ำเสมอ. จากผลการทำสอบการติดตั้งใช้งานเครื่องหว่านอาหารกุ้งอัตโนมัติ จำนวน 6 เครื่องสำหรับพื้นที่บ่อเลี้ยงกุ้งขนาด 4 ไร่, โดยแต่ละเครื่องสามารถกระจายอาหารได้ไกลสุด 10 เมตร, ที่รัศมีการเหวี่ยงสูงสุด 140 องศา และสามารถบรรจุอาหารกุ้งได้สูงสุด 5 กิโลกรัมต่อเครื่อง สำหรับการทำงานของระบบนั้น เครื่องแต่ละเครื่องจะทำงานสลับกันจนครบรอบการทำงาน. เครื่องตัวที่ 1จะเป็นตัวควบคุมหลัก โดยจะเหวี่ยงอาหารเป็นเวลา 10 วินาทีแล้วหยุด. จากนั้น เครื่องตัวที่ 2, 3, 4,5 และ 6 จะทำงานเช่นนี้ต่อไปเรื่อยๆ จนครบรอบการทำงาน. จากการทดสอบพบว่า ขนาดเม็ดอาหารกุ้งที่เหมาะสมสำหรับเครื่องหว่านอาหารกุ้งอัตโนมัตินี้คือ อาหารเม็ดเบอร์ 3 และเเบอรื 3, โดยมีประสิทธิภาพการจ่ายอาหารกุ้งได้เฉลี่ย 1 กิโลกรัมต่อนาที และสามารถตั้งเวลาการให้อาหารได้ตามต้องการด้วยระบบ Timer Relay ทำให้มีลักษณะการกระจายของเม็ดอาหารสม่ำเสมอตลอดพื้นที่ครอบคลุมและมีเปอร์เซ็นต์การแตกหักของเม็ดอาหารน้อยกว่า 5 เปอร์เซ็นต์สาระสังเขป: สถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศไทย ประสบความสำเร็จในการออกแบบและสร้างเครื่องหว่านอาหารกุ้งอัตโนมัติ ซึงประกอบด้วยงานออกแบบเครื่องหว่านอาหารกุ้งอัตโนมัติจำนวน 6 เครื่อง, พร้อมทั้งได้ทำการออกแบบแม่พิมพ์ฉีดพลาสติกสำหรับชิ้นส่วนสำคัญของเครื่องคือ จานหมุนเหวี่ยงและสกรูป้อนอาหาร
