Language: English ชื่อชุด: Class. Invest. no. 2 Rep. no. 4 (CONFIDENTIAL)ข้อมูลการพิมพ์: Bangkok : Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research, 1971 หัวเรื่อง: Ammonium sulphite process | Kenaf | Pulpsสาระสังเขป: Ammonium sulphite process for pulping kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus) was distinguished for its high yield, good strength, and bright colour. Presh kenaf chips were cooked at liquor ratio 6:1 on dry basis with ammonium sulphite solution buffered with ammonia to pH 9.3. The solution was prepared with 11.4% SO2 and 13% NH3 on ovendry chips. The cooking conditions were heating in 3 hours to 170 degree celsius and cooking at degree celsius for 2 hours for a yield of 56% on ovendry chips. The pulp responded well to DE/E/D bleaching sequence to 76% brightness with total equivalent chlorine at 10%. The bleached yield was 89% on unbleached pulp or 49% on ovendry chips.สาระสังเขป: For air dry kenaf, more concentrated cooking solution was applied. A pulp yield or 60% on ovendry chips was obtained by cooking air dry chips at liquor ratio 5:1 with buffered ammonium sulphite solution prepared from 17% SO2 and 15% amonia. The cooking conditions were heating to 170 degree celsius in 2 hours and cooking at 170 degree celsius for 2 hours. The pulp had good strength with brightness 34. Bleaching of the pulp was rather difficult. - Authors.
