The subprogramme is coded in Fortran IV. The condition of material homogeneity is only to be fulfilled within each elements, but it is permitted to vary from element to element. It can be treated like an ordinary subroutine packet which can be combined with any Fortran IV calling programme in the normal way. TRIANG is especially recommended for use in analysing ferro-cement constructions as well as other plate structures made of anisotropic and inhomogeneous materials where the out-of-plane bending does not exist.
