Farmers who well protected their crops may earn the income of 481 and 340 US $/ha from groundnut-maize and soybean-maize intercropping while only 148 and 81 US $/ha were obtained by those who gave improper protection to their crops. Authors.สาระสังเขป: The results indicate that soybean intercropped with maize yielded 489 kg/ha of soybean and 941 kg/ha of maize, on the otherhand, groundnut intercropped with maize yielded 400 and 878 kg/ha of groundnut and maize respectively. The demonstration also showed that income obtained from soybean-maize and groundnut-maize intercropping were 178 and 233 US $/ha.
