Complete fertilizer 6-18-24 at the rates of 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg/rai were applied with and without supplemented N to the field before planting. Ammonium sulphate was used as the source of supplemented N at the rates of 0, 5, 10 and 15 kg N/rai. The plots with 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg complete fertilizer/rai yielded 2,993, 2,828, 3,236 and 3,377 kg/rai, respectively. While those applied with different rates of supplemented N yielded 2, 498, 2,956, 3,535 and 3,377 kg/rai, respectively. The interaction of complete fertilizer and supplemented N showed that the greatest yield 3,860 kg/rai was harvested from the plot applied with 50 kg complete fertilizer/rai supplemented with 10 kg N/rai. And the plot of 25 kg complete fertilizer/rai without supplemented N product the minimum yield, 2,242 kg/rai.
