Selective primers and nucleotides showed that the number of amplified fragments could be maximized, of which 50 accessions were polymorphic. The genetic variations in this study could be divided into 4 large genotype groups whereas 41 accessions in the largest genotype group could also be divided into 2 sub-genotype groups. Hence, AFLP DNA Fingerprint could be used as a tool for the selection and improvement in breeding of potentially high quality cultivars of Clausena heptaphylla which could have high active ingredients in the near future.สาระสังเขป: จากการเก็บตัวอย่างใบจากต้นโปร่งฟ้า อายุประมาณ 2 ปี ที่ได้จากการเพาะเมล็ด จ านวน 65 ตัวอย่าง แล้วเลือกวิเคราะห์ลายพิมพ์ดีเอนเอ ด้วยวิธี AFLP เฉพาะตัวอย่างที่สามารถสกัดดีเอนเอที่มีคุณภาพจ านวน 50 ตัวอย่าง พบว่า ต้นโปร่งฟ้าที่เกิดจากการเพาะเมล็ด มีความแปรปรวนทางพันธุกรรมพอสมควร โดยสามารถแบ่งกลุ่มเป็น 4 กลุ่มใหญ่ และใน 1 กลุ่มใหญ่ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 41 ตัวอย่าง จะสามารถแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่มย่อย การศึกษาลายพิมพ์ดีเอนเอที่ได้จะเป็นประโยชน์ในการคัดเลือกสายต้น หรือเพื่อการปรับปรุงพันธุ์ต้นโปร่งฟ้า เพื่อให้ได้ต้นที่มีคุณภาพและมีผลผลิตทางปริมาณสารออกฤทธิ์สูงต่อไป.
