The results of a 9-months storage showed that kenaf stalks can be preserved with minimum damage under shade, while stored under field condition kenaf stalks were seriously damaged by fungi, soil microorganisms, white ants, and weathering process. High moisture in rainy season caused even more rapid loss. The experiment was conducted at Amphoe Phon, Khon Kaen Province.
