The symptoms were noticed at the age of about 6 weeks after germination. The plants showed slow growth of apical part, shortened internodes, curled and distored upper leaves, and undeveloped flower head. In servere cases, the affected plants died off during their vegetative stageสาระสังเขป: The deficiency may be corrected by application of 2-8 kg borax (N B O .l0H O) per rai. Author.
