It could contain 20 consumer packs and was closed by 6 strips of pressure-sensitive tapes. The result showed that this box was sutiable in terms of strength as well as effective utilization of Europallet and freight space. The graphic design of box was one colour (dark blue) flexographic printed, stressing on the necessities for efficient handling and transportation. Authorsสาระสังเขป: Two types of individual-quick-frozen (IQF) boiled black tiger shrimp-400/500 in size, headless, peeled, deveined and 31/40 in size, headless, peeled, tail-on, deveined--were selected as the target products. The porper consumer packaging was plastic pouch in paperboard box. The size of the pouch was 200 x 160 mm, made of laminate film PA 15 u/LDPE 65 µ, containing 500 g of shrimp, vacuum packed and heat-sealed. The type of box was folding carton, 190 x 140 x 40 mm of outside dimension, made of 380 g/m2 white-back board. The box was closed by hot melt process. The graphic design of the box was done by 4 colours offset printing and coated with UV or plastic on the print.
