The focus of this project is on developing analytical and testing services for microorganisms that conform to the ISO/IEC 17025 international standard, enabling service provision to users, particularly for the analysis of raw materials used in animal feed. The products must undergo accepted analyses in the ISO 9001 or ISO/IEC 17025 standards systems to be eligible for registration and certification by governmental agencies. This project provides both cultures service and microorganism analytical services to 450 service users. Moreover, the increasing of 117 microbe strains which were investigated for purity and accuracy to the service catalogue. This has led to the readiness of microorganisms to the users. Additionally, the project has created 2 prototypes for the private sector and also developed 1 contract research with private company. Furthermore, the project has led to the creation of academic manuscript and petty patent In addition to infrastructural development, the project has also enhanced the knowledges and skills of the TISTR staffs, enabling users to have confidence in the services provided by TISTR. The knowledge and technological transfer of microorganism to private and social sectors
have also contributed to human capacity development. The overall outcomes of these project activities have encouraged and expanded avenues for users of microorganismrelated services to utilize internationally standardized services, leading to cost reduction and streamlined processes for future usersสาระสังเขป: โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการพัฒนาศักยภาพของศูนย์จุลินทรีย์ ภายใต้ศูนย์ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ (ศคช.) ให้ได้รับการรับรองระบบมาตรฐานสากล ISO/IEC 17025 และเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อการรองรับ ISO 20387 Biobanking ที่อยู่ภายใต้กลุ่มมาตรฐาน (ISO TC/276) ที่ต้องมีระบบมาตรฐานสากล ISO/IEC 17025 เป็นองค์ประกอบพื้นฐานในห้องปฏิบัติการ โดยโครงการนี้มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาการให้บริการวิเคราะห์ทดสอบด้านจุลินทรีย์ที่ได้มาตรฐานสากล ISO/IEC 17025
เพื่อรองรับการให้บริการกับผู้ใช้บริการในการนำส่งผลิตภัณฑ์ต่างๆ โดยเฉพาะวัตถุดิบที่ใช้อาหารสัตว์ซึ่งผลิตภัณฑ์ต่างๆ ของผู้ใช้บริการต้องได้รับการวิเคราะห์ทดสอบที่ได้รับการยอมรับทั้งในระบบมาตรฐาน ISO 9001 และ/หรือ ISO/IEC 17025 จึงจะสามารถขอขึ้นทะเบียนรับรองกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐได้ ซึ่งในโครงการนี้มีการให้บริการทั้งงานบริการสายพันธุ์และการบริการวิเคราะห์ทดสอบด้านจุลินทรีย์แก่ผู้ใช้บริการเป็นจำนวน 450 รายการ และได้พัฒนาตรวจสอบคุณลักษณะ ความถูกต้องของจุลินทรีย์จำนวน 117 สายพันธุ์ ส่งผลให้จุลินทรีย์มีความพร้อมในการให้บริการแก่ผู้ใช้บริการ อีกทั้งในโครงการนี้ยังได้พัฒนาให้มีส่งมอบต้นแบบเทคโนโลยีการใช้ประโยชน์ด้านจุลินทรีย์แก่ ภาคเอกชนจำนวน 2 ต้นแบบเทคโนโลยี และสามารถพัฒนาให้เกิดงานบริการวิจัยแก่หน่วยงานเอกชนเพิ่มจำนวน 1 รายการ ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นในโครงการนี้ยังก่อให้เกิดการสร้างเอกสารทางวิชาการและทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาอีกด้วย นอกจากการพัฒนาในด้านของโครงสร้างพื้นฐานแล้วโครงการนี้ยังได้มีการพัฒนากำลังคนของ วว. ให้มีความรู้ ความเข้าใจ ทักษะเพิ่มขึ้น เพื่อให้ผู้ใช้บริการมีความมั่นใจใน
งานบริการของ วว. และยังมีการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านจุลินทรีย์ให้แก่หน่วยงานภาคเอกชนและสังคมซึ่งถือเป็นการพัฒนากำลังคนในภาคส่วนอื่นๆ อีกด้วย ซึ่งจากผลการดำเนินงานของโครงการทั้งหมดนี้ เป็นการส่งเสริมและเพิ่มช่องทางแก่ผู้ใช้บริการด้านจุลินทรีย์ ในการใช้บริการด้านจุลินทรีย์ที่ได้มาตรฐานสากลภายในประเทศ ส่งผลให้เกิดการลดต้นทุน ลดขั้นตอนแก่ผู้ใช้บริการอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมต่อไป
