Optimum conditions for laboratory scale manufacture were determined.สาระสังเขป: The strongest formcoke briquets were produced from -35 mesh char with 15 per cent binder, briquetting pressure of 3,000 psi, heating rate of 8-10 degree celsius/min to a coking temperature of 900 degree celsius. Authors.สาระสังเขป: Three lignite samples from Li District, Lamphun Province were carbonized at 500 degree celsius and calcined at 900 degree celsius. Cylindrical briquets, 1 inch diameter by 2 inches high, were made from blends of the chars and binder.
