The results showed that fresh yield of kenaf which was harvested in December reached the highest weight of 3,044 kg/rai, compared with 2,723 kg/rai in Januray and 2,681 kg/rai in November. However, when all samples were sun-dried in the field until the weights no longer devreased they were subject to ovendry at 100 degree celsius for 24 h, the results showed that kenaf which was harvested in January produced the highest yield of 880 kg/rai, while those harvested in December and November yielded 847 and 707 kg/rai, respectively. Kenaf stalks had 10.4-10.8 per cent moisture after 2 months of sundry. A fresh and ovendry weight ratio was observed to be 3.5 per cent in these unusually late harvests.
