Small sewage treatment is designed and constructed in order to make a small pilot waste treatment plant to collect the real onsite data in tourist area. The results show potential to use this process in the waste treatment system.สาระสังเขป: One the other hand, the study on offsite waste treatment is also established in laboratory scale. This system is suitable for large scale waste treatment and/or the area that inconvenient to or cannot be able to use the onsite ones. In this project, constructed wetland of three stages is prepared as a guideline to investigate the effect of multi-stage constructed wetland. The results show a very high potential to use this concept in the waste treatment process.สาระสังเขป: โครงการนี้ได้ดำเนินการสำรวจระบบการบำบัดของเสียชุมชนต่าง ๆ และได้ทำการจัดสร้างหน่วยบำบัดสิ่งปฏิกูลขนาดเล็กสำหรับการบำบัดในพื้นที่ที่เป็นแหล่งกำเนิดของของเสียขึ้นมา เพื่อที่จะได้ทำการจัดเก็บข้อมูล และศึกษาหาปัญหาตลอดจนคุณลักษณะของของเสียชุมชนในพื้นที่ท่องเที่ยว จากการเก็บข้อมูลจากสภาพการใช้งานจริง พบว่าระบบนี้มีศักยภาพที่จะสามารถรองรับการบำบัดได้สาระสังเขป: นอกจากนี้ทางโครงการยังได้ทำการศึกษาระบบการบำบัดน้ำเสียชุมชนแบบตั้งอยู่นอกพื้นที่กำเนิดของเสียในระดับห้องปฏิบัติการด้วย โดยใช้ระบบพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำเทียมชนิดหลายขั้นตอน (multi-stage constructed wetland) ที่มีการไหลของน้ำในแนวดิ่ง (vertical plug flow) มาใช้ในการศึกษา (ในที่นี้เป็นชนิด 3 ขั้นตอน) และใช้น้ำทิ้งชุมชนเทียมจากอาหารเสริมที่ใช้แทนนมผงสำหรับทารกมาผสมกับน้ำ จากการเก็บข้อมูลพบว่าระบบที่ได้ทำการศึกษานี้แสดงแนวโน้มของศักยภาพในการบำบัดสูงมาก.
