The effects of various parameters on the yield of the mushroom production have been investigated. These parameters are pH of composts, type of casing soil, mushroom strains and storage time of spawns. From the results, it can be concluded that the average yield per square meter is maximum when using the following processes:- pH of compost at 7.35, strain No. A and one month storage time of spawns. Authorsสาระสังเขป: สถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศไทย (วท.) ได้ทำการทดลองเพาะเห็ดกระดุม ที่โรงเพาะเห็ด บ้านยาง, อำเภอฝาง, จังหวัดเชียงใหม่. โดยทำการศึกษาตัวแปรต่าง ๆ ที่มีผลกระทบต่อผลผลิตของเห็ดกระดุม ได้แก่ ค่าของ pH กับฟางหมัก, ชนิดของดินที่ใช้คลุมผิวหน้าฟางหมัก, สายพันธุ์เห็ดกระดุม และอายุการเก็บเชื้อ. จากการทดลองสรุปได้ว่า การทดลองเพาะเห็ดกระดุมโดยใช้ฟางหมักที่ pH 7.35, สายพันธุ์ A22 และอายุการเก็บเชื้อไว้นาน 1 เดือนนั้นจะให้ผลผลิตเฉลี่ยต่อตารางเมตรสูงกว่าการทดลองด้วยวิธีหรือสายพันธุ์อื่น ๆ.
