Nodal impedance matrices are used to represent system networks of different phase sequences; synchronous machines are represented as constant voltages behind direct-axis transient reactances; and the swings of rotor angles are calculated by the conventional step-by-step method. The programme can be used to analyse a system of 70 busbars and 40 machinese with symetrical disturbances, and of 40 busbars and 20 machines with unsymetrical disturbances. Author
