Whiteware is being produced in small quantities, and there is only one attempt to produce medium grade porcelain were on a production line basis. In the present state of knowledge of the mineral resources of Thailand, the future of the ceramic industry is not encouraging. Whiteware ceramics need china clay, plastic or ball clay, and a flux. No deposits of good ball clay or flux have yet been reported, but there are some good china clays, which are also suitable for use as filler and paper coating clays. Development of these resources has the most promising future of all the clay resources of Thailand. S.K
