However, the targeted technology transfer project of TISTR's interlocking soil-cement blocks had increased to 10 workshops. The objective of the project was aimed at creating an enterprise group of interlocking blocks production and construction in small scale and community businesses for the unemployed and the unfortunate graduales without work, as well as those who were interested in acquiring occupations and earnings. A total of 10 workshops with 551 attendants were organized in Chiang Mai and Phrae provinces in the North; Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Sakon Nakhon and Si Sa Ket provinces in the Northeast; Kanchanaburi province in the West and Phatthalung province in the South. On each occassion, lateritic soils in the vicinity, if available, were investigated for their suitability. Evaluation on feed back of technology transfer and suggestion from the participants were made summarized so that a more efficient transfer could be performed. The transfer of TISTR's soil-cement block technology has resulted in promising newly-formed business groups in blocks production in rural communities such as a new campus of Taksin University at Kuan Khanoon District, Phatthalung province, which forms a business groups in interlocking blocks production and construction for a housing project around the campus, a youth group at co-operative community of Phatthalung province and a youth group at the Mobile Development Unit 32 of the Military Development Command of the Royal Thai Armed Froces in Chiang Mai province. - Authors.สาระสังเขป: ในปีงบประมาณ 2544 ฝ่ายถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีสู่ชนบท ได้รับการจัดสรรงบประมาณเพิ่มขึ้นจากปีที่ผ่านมาเล็กน้อย, แต่เป้าหมายในการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีบล็อกประสาน วท. เพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 10 ครั้ง, โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีบล็อกประสานให้กับผู้ว่างงานและผู้จบการศึกษาที่ไม่มีงานทำ ตลอดจนผู้สนใจทั่วไปให้เกิดอาชีพและรายได้ เพื่อให้เกิดกลุ่มผลิตบล็อกประสาน วท. และการก่อสร้างในธุรกิจชุมชนขนาดย่อม. การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีรวม 10 ครั้ง รวมจำนวนผู้เข้ารับการถ่ายทอด 551 คน, ในภาคเหนือ ที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่, จังหวัดแพร่; ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ที่จังหวัดนครราชสีมา, จังหวัดขอนแก่น, จังหวัดสกลนคร และจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ; ภาคตะวันตก ที่จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี; ภาคใต้ ที่จังหวัดพัทลุง. การถ่ายทอดฯ ในแต่ละแห่งได้มีการทดสอบความเหมาะสมของดินลูกรังในแต่ละพื้นที่ และประเมินผลการถ่ายทอดของผู้เข้ารับการถ่ายทอดทุกครั้ง รวมทั้งประมวลความคิดเห็นต่าง ๆ จากผู้รับการถ่ายทอด เพื่อให้การถ่ายทอดเป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น. ผลการดำเนินงานในการถ่ายทอดเทคโนดลยีบล็อกประสาน วท. สามารถก่อให้เกิดกลุ่มอาชีพใหม่ และผู้ผลิตบล็อกประสาน วท. ในลักษณะธุรกิจชุมชนขึ้น ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ อำเภอควนขนุน, จังหวัดพัลุง; กลุ่มเยาวชนสหกรณ์จังหวัดพัทลุง อำเภอเมือง, จังหวัดพัทลุง; กลุ่มราษฎรในเขต นพค. 32 จังหวัดเชียงใหม่; กลุ่มราษฎรในเขตกลุ่มเทศบาลตำบลบ้านไผ่ จังหวัดขอนแก่น; กลุ่มเยาวชนใน 3 องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบล ได้แก่ องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลสรอย, องค์การบริหารส่วน.- ผู้แต่ง
