All of these samples were categorized into 5 divisions, 13 orders, 28 genera and 72 species which can be specified as follows : division Chlorophyta 5 orders, 12 genera, 24 species: division Euglenophyta 1 order, 1 genera, 2 species; division Crytophyta 1 order, 1 genera, 1 species; division Chrysophyta 2 orders, 5 genera, 10 species and division Cyanophyta 4 orders, 9 genera, 35 species. One hyndred strains of the categorized samples were deposited in TISTR Culture Collection. These unialgal strains can be classified into division Chlorophyta 2 orders, 4 genera, 4 species (9 strains). They are Chlamydomonas gloeogama, Chlorella ellipsoidea, C. vulgaris, Chlorella spp., Chlorococcum spp., Scenedesmus quadricauda, Scenedesmus sp. Division Cynophyta 4 orders, 8 genera, 21 species (91 strains). They are Anabaena spp., Calothrix elenkinii, C. marchica. Calothrix spp., Chroococcus minor, Chroococcus sp., Cylindrospermum sp., Fischerella spp., Gloeocapsa sp., Hapalosiphon hibemicus, H. intricatus. H. stuhmannii, H. welwitschii, Hapalosiphon spp., Lyngbya hieronymusii, L. spiralis, Mastigocladus spp., Microcoleus acutissimus, Microcystis aeruginosa, Microcystis robusta, Myxosarcina burmensis, Myxosarcina sp., Nostoc calcicola, N. commune, N. microscopicum, N. paludosum, N. piscinale, N. punctiforme, Nostoc spp., Oscillatoria agardhii, O. amoena, O. amphigranulata, O. claricentrosa, O. jasorvensis, O. laete-virens, O. obscura, O. pseudogeminata, O. subbrevis, O. subtilissima, O. willei, Oscillatoria spp., Phormidium ambiguum, P. angustissimum, P. foveolarum, P. molle, Phormidium spp., Rivularia spp., Scytonema stuposum, S. varium, Scytonema spp., Symploca muralis, Stigonemahormoides, S. minutum, Synechocystis sp., Tolypothrix distorta, Tolypothrix sp.
