The "Thailo" bin has proved to be a success, no crack that would cause percolation has been reported, in spite of its being two years old now. Three tons of paddy were stored in this silo on experimental basis for a period of 6 months good storage result has been recorded without any damage. S.R.สาระสังเขป: ในการศึกษาเทคนิคการก่อสร้างยุ้งไทยโล เพื่อให้สามารถเก็บข้าวเปลือกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ไม่เกิดรอยแตกร้าวและรั่วซึม, สวป. ได้ทดลองก่อสร้างยุ้งไทยโล ขนาด 6 ตันข้าวเปลือกขึ้นใหม่ โดยการควบคุมคุณภาพของวัสดุก่อสร้างและขั้นตอนการก่อสร้างที่ดี. ปรากฏว่ายุ้งไทยโลหลังนี้มีคุณภาพดีทุกประการ, ปราศจากรอยแตกร้าวที่จะทำให้เกิดการรั่วซึมของน้ำ แม้ปัจจุบันจะมีอายุมากกว่า 2 ปี. ได้ทดลองเก็บข้าวเปลือกจำนวน 3 ตัน ในยุ้งนี้เป็นเวลา 6 เดือน, ปรากฏว่า สามารถเก็บข้าวเปลือกได้ดี ไม่ปรากฏความเสียหายใด ๆ.
