The species (including on animal flavour source) considered worth investigating are : Ocimum basilicum (horapha), Pogostemon cablin (patchouli), Citrus hystrix (makrut), Ocimum sanctum (kaphrao), Ocimum basilicum var. pilosum (maenglak), Cinnamomum sp. (opchoei), Jasiminum sambao (mali), Cymbopogon citratus (takhrai), Styrax tonkinensis (benzoin), Cocos mucifera (maphrao), and Lethocerus indicus (maengda-no)
