The protincture ginger obtained contains approximately 6.50 percent w/v of total solid, 0.8500 weight (g) per millilitre and 82.5 percent v/v of ethyl alcohol. It can be diluted to strong ginger tincture and weak ginger tincture accordingly to meet the requirements of British Pharmacopoeia 1988.
