The tonic drink was designed to fill in 150-cubic cm, dark brown, square bottle with screw aluminium caps. The production rate was 40,000 bottles/day (6, litres/days). The tonic drink process consisted of preparing acid, syrup, gum, nutrient and color mixtures in mixing tanks (350, 250, 200 and 50 litres respectively). The prepared syrup and gum were pumped to 500 and 400 litres storage tanks. After measuring the ingredients as described above at the most accurate proportion, they were mixed in 720-litre tanks. The product quality was controlled by adding water and some ingredients to meet the specification. This tonic drink was sterilized at 90 degree celsius, then cooled down and filled in 150-cubic cm bottles, which were washed and dried by rinsing machine at the rate of 12,000 bottles per hour before packaging. Afterwards, the tonic drink was conveyed to capping, labelling and wrapping machines.
