The Plygesal Gel was prepared by the Pharmaceuticals and Natural Products Department (PNPD), Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR). Three commercial anti-inflammatory gel products were introduced to the study as control samples. The study was performed according to the method of Draize et al. (1994). It showed that the Plygesal Gel was classified as "mild irritant" .
