They have been planted at Non Sung Agricultural Experiment Station at ten-day intervals from 20 May 1967 for ten consecutive periods, and the blooming dates of the first flower and of 50 per cent of the plants in a plot have been recorded. It has been found that Cuba 20-32 is a photoperiodic sensitive variety which blooms at the normal period (around the first week of October), no matter when it is planted. The remaining varieties either require a shorter photoperiod than the normal 12.5 hours or are not sensitive to photoperiod. Authors
