The pulp has a tear factor of 310 at 410 C.S.F. and folding endurance of 1221 at 129 g/m² basis weight.สาระสังเขป: For linerboard and industrial paper, mixed pulping of Thai kenaf and bamboo by two-stage sodium bisulphite process with 16% SO 2 in the bisulphite stage and 6% NaOH in the second stage gave 71% yield with high tearing factor of 175 at 390 C.S.F. Also mixed pulping of bamboo and yangwood by two-stage mangefite process with 16% SO 2 in the first stage at 160 degree celsius for 2½ hours and 6% NaOH in the second stage at 170 degree celsius for one hour gave 65% yield. The pulp has good tearing strength.สาระสังเขป: Mixed pulp of bast ribbons and rice straw in a ratio of 1:2 by mechano-chemical soda process with 20% NaOH at 95 degree celsius for one hour resulted with 52% yield of pulp, which was bleached to 89% brightness with 8% chlorine in C/E/H sequence. The bleached yield was 41% on raw materials. The pulp is distinguished for a high tear factor of 175 attributed to the kenaf bast fibre. - Authorsสาระสังเขป: Mixed pulping of bamboo and yangwood by polysulphide process with 18% NaOH, 5% Na 5S, and 5% S gave 45% yield. Bleaching to 92% brightness was made with 8% chlorine in C/E/H sequence. The bleached pulp has good tearing strength.สาระสังเขป: Mixed pulping of kenaf and bamboo grass by kraft process with 18% NaOH and 6% Na2S at 170 degree celsius for two hours gave 42% yield of pulp, which was bleached to 94% brightness with 8% chlorine in C/E/H sequence. The bleached pulp has good opacity and fair tearing strength.สาระสังเขป: Mixed pulping of Thai kenaf and depithed bagasse by neutral sulphite process with 16% Na 2 SO 3, 3% NaHCO 3 at 170 degree celsius for 2½ hours gave 62% yield. A C/E/H bleaching sequence with 8% chlorine gave a brightness of 81% and a bleasched yield of 52% on raw materials. The pulp has higher tear and better opacity than bagasse pulp.สาระสังเขป: Mixed pulping of two kinds of fibrous materials was investigated. The result was compared with that obtained by conventional pulping with a single kind of raw materials. Kenaf and bamboo were chosen as sources of long fibre, whereas yangwood, bagasse, and straw as short fibre sources.สาระสังเขป: Varicus processes for pulping bamboo (Banbusa arundinacae) were explored. Sixed pulping of bamboo and kenaf by two-stage sodium bisulphite process with 16% SO 2 gave 51% yield. The pulp was bleached to 66% brightness with 9% chlorine in C/E/H sequence. The bleached pulp has good strength.
