The pulp was bleached to 85% brightness with 7% chlorine in C/E/H sequence with a bleached yield of 44% depithed bagasse.สาระสังเขป: Mixed pulping of depithed bagasse and Thai kenaf retted fibre in a ratio of 2:1 was tried with 15% caustic soda on raw materials in mechano-chemical pulping at 95-98 degree celsius for 45 minutes. The yield was 71%. The pulp was bleached to 73% brightness with 8% chlorine in C/E/H sequence. A high bleached yield of 62% on raw materials was attained. The bleached pulp has good quality, featuring high tear factor 114, burst factor 50, and folding endurance 637 with basis weight of handsheets a 62 g/m² and freeness at S-R 450 ml. - Authors.สาระสังเขป: Mixed pulping of equal parts of depithed bagasse and kenaf chips by kraft process with 18% caustic soda and 3.4% sodium sulphide at 170 degree celsius for 1½ hours gave 45% yield. The dosa pre-treatment used 8% caustic soda at 120 degree celsius for one hour and gave 76% yield of crude pulp. This pulp was treated at 10% consistency with 3.8% ClO2 gas at 80 degree celsius for one hour. This was followed by alkali extraction with 2% caustic soda; then bleaching with 8% chlorine in C/E/H sequence rosulted with a bleached of 52% on raw materials and 81% brightness.สาระสังเขป: Mixed pulping of two parts of depithed bagasse and one part of kenaf bast ribbons by neutral sulphite process with 14% sodium sulphite and 3% sodium bicarbonate at 170 degree celsius for 2 hours gave 62% yield. The pulp was bleached to 70% brightness with 9% chlorine in C/E/H sequence with a bleached yield of 55% on raw materials.
